By supporting MVDT you are helping to provide a healthier and happier future for the villagers.

o Through education, the children will have increased opportunities to improve their chances of finding employment.

o Through better access to healthcare, clean water and sanitation the community will suffer less disease and have more time and energy to plan and take responsibility for their own futures.

£20 will pay for a goat. The goats are a great asset to the community as their milk can be sold and the manure used to grow crops. The goats are looked after communally so every family can benefit. Your donation also covers the cost of a vet coming bi-annually to inspect and worm the goats.

A regular donation of £10 a month will pay for a child to go to school. Primary education is free in Kenya but most children don’t attend because their parents cannot afford the hidden costs, such as the registration fee, uniform and text books. Your £10 even covers a small amount for the children to buy lunch. Without this, they would go all day without eating. We will keep you regularly updated on how your child is progressing through school.
